What is Spond (Juniors Members Only, NOT Saturday Morning Rooks)?

Spond is the new app that we use for:

  • Player & parent registration

  • Booking and paying for your child for membership and events

  • Fixtures

  • Availability

  • Selection

  • Other notifications such as club events, the newsletter etc

 

here’s how to get started Registering

Step 1: Players Click here to Complete the club's player registration form

Coaches Click Here

If you already use Spond with another club or team, we recommend using the same email address, as this will mean you will be able to see both at the same time in the Spond app.

If you are currently using Spond already, we are asking you to sign up again (and perhaps ask your coach to delete your old Spond group) because we need to make sure that we have collected all the correct information up front.

When you click through, you will be told how to secure an FAN number for yourself and for your child before proceeding with registration.

Tips:

  • Be sure to pick the CHILD option/COACHES pick the COACHES option.

  • Please avoid auto-fill, as it may replace your child's name with your own

  • Add an additional guardian if you want a partner to receive messages from the club and to be able to help manage your child’s availability

  • Please do not enter contact details for your children; only for yourself, unless you are over 16 and signing up for yourself (unfortunately we can’t remove certain options from the form)

  • To sign up multiple children, complete the form multiple times using the same contact details

  • If your child’s date of birth suggests that they should be in a different school year from the year-group they are in at school, please include this as a note.

We will also ask you to give consent to the club's terms and conditions, as well as provide consent for photos. We have a new website and coach-player-parent-team-club contract in production, but for now we invite you to read through the documentation on our old website.

The system should send you an email to confirm receipt of your registration request. It will also invite you to send a request for you to send a headshot and passport ID to our Membership Secretary at ljfcspondregistration@hotmail.com.

 

Step 2: Lewes FC Juniors will approve your registration

The system requires us to approve your registration .

In the long run, we will approve registrations periodically - roughy once a week at less busy times of the year, and probably at least once per day during the busiest sign-up periods, but this week we will do our best to get things ready for the Pan Siro on .

The system should send you an email when we approve your request.
