Membership is currently CLOSED as we are at capacity. We will not hold a waiting list and will reopen applications in January 2025.

Our membership of 110 (including our team of volunteer facilitators and organisers called The Boot Room) each pay £33 pcm, most of which goes towards the £15k+ we pay Lewes FC in 3G pitch fees, which helps to support the parent club’s drive for on-the-pitch success, as well as towards our ‘Friends of the 3G’ fund. We are a constituted community group and are not for profit, donating 15% of our cash reserves to charity each year. Last year we raised over £3000 for Ukrainian charities.

If you are a member, you become eligible to play for our 3 teams in the Sussex Sunday Football League. These teams are selected in the traditional way and we tend to call these ‘competitively-selected’ games. To see pics from our 2-0 victory vs Sidley Vets, click here. Drop-in players are not eligible to play for Lewes FC.

Members can also participate in the Old Quality League, with 3 teams selected from our membership, and currently 7 from outside the club. These games include a poem about friendship and involve no slide tackles. They are run with a ‘Don’t Be a Dick’ philosophy of fairness, inclusivity and compassion.

New members are provided with kit as a one-off, which includes full yellow and black kits for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Members are also eligible to attend Lewes FC Mens and Women’s games (up to 10 per game)

Members get access to a number of Whatsapp groups that mean friendship, networking and inclusive social activity is never far way if you want to find it. These includes ‘Treatment Table’, our group that connects to our club physios who provide a monthly pitchside clinic as well as discounted appointments, ‘Vetworking’, our networking group and ‘Ultras’, our Lewes FC Supporters group run by Trevor Wells, Director of Lewes FC. We run social events both official and unofficial pretty regularly, and some of the group tend to to go to the pub most Fridays.

Members get access to a subsidised foreign tour: we have recently been to Blois, Waldshut-Tiengen Amsterdam and Bruges.
